Chief Data Scientist
Many people think of David Vediner as a parcel science “gearhead.” And they’re 100 percent correct. Throughout his lifetime, he has always been fascinated with mathematics and science. “I had a calling in life to deconstruct and understand the science that made all things ‘go.’” He went on to hone this calling with a BS in Physics.
“There are no magic tricks involved with making sure a specialty medication gets from points A and B to C without delays,” he says. “It all boils down to predictive parcel science. Pay attention to historic data and you can predict the future with a high level of accuracy.”
True to gearhead form, David began programming computers as a kid “for fun” and became obsessed with the intersection of math and computing. That obsession never cooled off. This intersection is the root from which ParcelShield’s predictive parcel science evolved.
With an eye fixed on seeing into the future — and responding to it accordingly to ensure optimal specialty medication shipping outcomes, whatever the weather — David leverages his experience, drive, and background to continuously improve ParcelShield’s science-based predictive capabilities.
